Days with Mommy

Mostly spent playing and sleeping....or doing a little of both at the same time!

While Dad was away for his first overnight trip we had some fun girl time with Auntie Jess, Aunt Betsy, and cousin Kristen.

A Special Visitor

We enjoyed a visit from Patrick on Sunday evening. He was in town and we were really glad he came by to say hi. As you can see miss Claire was quite comfortable in his arms....

Busy Week...

Well, mommy and miss Claire have had a very busy week. We ran errands on Monday for the first time alone, after having breakfast with daddy before work. Then someone was even good enough for me to go shopping to spend some birthday money!

We also met some new friends for coffee this week, her little girl was born 5 days after Claire. So we set up a standing play date each week.

We had our one month old weight check and someone weighed in a healthy 7 lbs, 11 oz! The pediatrician said that's wonderful and to keep doing whatever we're doing (which in our book means eat every hour, or so it seems that way to me)!!!

And the best part of our week was going to have lunch with daddy yesterday. We met him downtown and had lunch outside and then made a trip up to his office to meet everyone. She was the hit of the day and of course daddy didn't have any fun showing her off!!! It was the perfect day for us to go for a visit since it was "take your child to work day" :)

2008 Hope Floats Duck Race

KinderMourn's Duck Race....12,000 ducks were released by a crane into the rapids to race to the finish line. Each duck was $5 and the proceeds went to the wonderful helping ways KinderMourn supports grieving families and children.

Baby Grace had 50 ducks floating down the rapids in her memory. It was a very special day for our family & it will continue to be a tradition for us every year.

Claire's first trip to church

We all 3 made it dressed and out of the house on time for church. We were even lucky that none of us were wearing spit up!

We went walking today and used the Sleepy Wrap for the first time. We loved it! Someone just tucked herself down in there and enjoyed a nice long nap during our walk!
