Rest, Relax & Refresh
AAAAHHHH...what a fabulous weekend away! Thanks to a GREAT hubby and wonderful helping grandparents, I was able to get away with a fabulous group of friends for a retreat in the mountains. It felt so refreshing to take time for myself and spend 2 days listening to a great speaker, reflecting, shopping, eating eating eating and just spending some good quality 'me' time! I have really found such a special group of friends to share this journey through motherhood with and I'm so thankful that in this move I have gained amazing friendships!
Here are a few pictures of our small group and our car group :)

7 months old
So once again another month has rolled by and our baby is now closer to one than a newborn...wow!!!
What a blessing-words cant describe this precious little gift that has come into our home, family and hearts. She is without a doubt a complete dream baby...eats, sleeps, plays and never cries.
Her personality makes us laugh-she is so observant, wants to see and know whats going on without having to be included. She just sits back and takes everything in without fussing to be a part of it. (That may change once she can move!!) :)
She loves to play-sitting up-does NOT like to lay down anymore unless its to sleep. She eats lots of yummy baby food and enjoys playing in the tub with Claire every night.
She loves being outside-we are loving the spring like weather and we try to get outdoors every afternoon for a little fresh air.
She has really enjoyed music class-she dances and moves just like all the big kids. She gets toted around to story hour, art class and play dates and seems to love every minute of it all. She can sign for milk and I love seeing her each morning laying in her crib smiling with all her face and working those little hands, like bring it on mama!
My heart melts for that sweet face every time I see her and I know her daddy's heart crumbles each evening when he walks in the door hears "da da da da!" Its priceless!
Claire loves to read to her, teach her new things (right now its clapping) and sing her songs. They are so sweet together and I love watching them interact in the their own little world. No words to describe it...
So here we go into the second half of her first year-ready to enjoy more solid foods, more words, more movement, her baptism, first trip to the beach and then the big FIRST birthday!
