11 months old

Here we are with 4 weeks left until someone turns "1"!!! She is growing and changing so quickly, learning new things everyday and decided to cut all of her upper teeth at once. She will have a mouth full by cake time, but right now it's not too fun for any of us! She weighs 17 pounds and is walking with her grocery cart and around the furniture but not quite yet on her own. She stands by herself a lot, so we're anxiously awaiting those first steps. She still loves to read (especially flip books), playing during bath time, swinging in her swing, BUBBLES & more bubbles, going to story hour and Gymboree and of course her Daddy!! She is always full of laughs, developing her personality more and more, talks nonstop, loves to dance and sing, waves at anyone, and knows a few signs of baby sign language. That little mind is constantly in motion and wanting to learn and know more, it is so fun to watch her and teach her new things. We are really excited about her first birthday party next month and can't wait to celebrate her big day!

Claire went to her first birthday party on Saturday for her friend Isabella. Here are some pictures of the girls in action at the party...Claire gave her a "baby Judy" doll all of her own since she loves hers so much & as you can see she even taught her how to "give Judy love"!

70 degrees in Feb??

We enjoyed a beautiful weekend outside with sunshine and warm weather! We all have a horrible case of spring fever now and it will probably snow next week! We had a date night Friday night and then got to enjoy some well needed family time Saturday and Sunday. We spent some time on the greenway running, played outside with bubbles, kicked around the soccer ball and took Gabby on a walk. A really great weekend!

Little ladybug

It was national 'wear red day' for heart disease, so we wore our red shirts and Claire was especially cute in her ladybugs! We had a really busy week full of story hour, play dates, gymboree and church, so we were on the move all week. She is crawling faster and faster and pulling up on everything, even cruising the furniture. She stood up on her own Wednesday from a seated position and lasted about 30 seconds before plopping back down. Walking might happen by March 23rd...who knows!

Queens Weekend

Claire had lots of fun with her "aunts & uncles" this weekend. Uncle Josh and Aunt Laura stayed with us and Claire enjoyed playing with them. And of course Uncle Iain, Aunt Betsy & Uncle Nick as well! We had everyone over Friday night and then spent the day out and about Sat while Claire stayed with her Gammie. She of course was the life of the party and had fun showing off her toys, talents and posing for pictures!!
