Queens Weekend

Claire had lots of fun with her "aunts & uncles" this weekend. Uncle Josh and Aunt Laura stayed with us and Claire enjoyed playing with them. And of course Uncle Iain, Aunt Betsy & Uncle Nick as well! We had everyone over Friday night and then spent the day out and about Sat while Claire stayed with her Gammie. She of course was the life of the party and had fun showing off her toys, talents and posing for pictures!!

Birthday celebrations

We got to enjoy the weekend with the Lucado's and celebrate Dianne and Mimi's birthdays. As you can see, like always, someone was the star of the show! Free entertainment all weekend long!

10 months old

Each month I ask the same question....how did we get here??!! But here we are at 10 months and loving life more everyday! As much as we both miss the newborn phase, these days definitely aren't worth trading! They are wonderful! She is such a happy, fun and entertaining little soul that will make you laugh til you cry at the drop of a hat.

She is of course still crawling everywhere, into and curious about everything and talks nonstop. She is pulling up very well and trys everyday to stand up on her own from a seated position. She has taken a few steps with her grocery cart, then falls and looks at us like, what happened?!

She is very loving and hands out kisses to just about anyone and anything. She loves playing with her friends and going out with mommy to run errands. She makes sure that everyone sees her wherever she is and points at them until they acknowledge her!

We have been battling a cold most of the week and took a quick trip to the doctor this morning just to make sure it wasn't ears again. But they looked fine and between cutting teeth, the dry cold weather and terrible colds going around, we'll just have to battle through it. She has 4 top teeth trying to pierce the skin and that is causing some serious pain. But she is still eating, sleeping and playing like normal, so this too shall pass.

So we will continue to soak up every minute, memory and milestone on the way to her first birthday.....which will be here soon!

New Favorite Thing

So who would have guessed that bar stools could provide hours of entertainment??!! Claire has discovered they make a really cool noise if you move, drag, slide or pull them across the hardwood floor! Of course she thinks she's getting away with something too, which makes it that much more fun to do! So here she is working hard & having some fun!

Best Buddies

They love to play in their "fort" under the kitchen table. They get their favorite things and sit there together while I am busy around the kitchen. It is very cute to watch Claire "talk" to Gabby and tell her what's on her mind! I'm sure Gabby just wants to nap peacefully, but is very patient and content with her following her around.

Snow Day!

We got the first snow of the season on Tuesday. It was a beautiful, white and fluffy snow and Gabby had a blast running and playing in it. We got about 3 1/2 inches and it snowed most of the morning, so Claire and I were able to watch out the window! We bundled up that afternoon once the sun came out and took a walk, but it was quite cold!
