Watching Frosty the Snowman

Kind of funny: the reindeer jammies that Caroline has on is a 6 month outfit that Claire wore her first Christmas at 9 months old! The Santa jammies that she has on (foot jammies as Claire calls them) is a 24 month size that she can still wear!

So we enjoyed a lazy, warm Sunday morning at home today. We stayed in our "foot jammies" and played, watched Frosty (I think at least a dozen times), had "warm" cocoa and relaxed. We sent daddy to the grocery store and it started snowing mid afternoon.

I went to a holiday party and then came back to pick the 3 of them up and we went to a wonderful holiday service at church, "O little Town of Bethlehem." It was fantastic and Claire LOVED all the "baby Jesus" music! ha!

So we left the church at 7:15 in a winter wonderland and it took us 45 minutes to get home....lots of snowy/icy roads, lots of cars in ditches and lots of turning around trying alternate routes due to slick hills and stuck cars! It was quite an adventure (one I would rather not relive) but thankfully we made it home and daddy did a great job getting his girls home safe and sound.
