In like a Lion, Out like a Lamb
Isn't that an old quote about March? Well if so, I am going to say the lion arrived with the first of March and not wanting to rush away a great month, but I'm ready for the lamb!!!!
We are having another round of winter colds under our roof and I am beyond tissues, cough drops and our very own Walgreen's pharmacy. Its bad when your 3 yr old can ask, 'mama, is this my allergy med, my banana med (1st antibiotic), my cough med, my Motrin, or my grape med (2nd antibiotic)?' On top of having to endure a trip to the children's ER, some finger sticks and a big fat antibiotic shot all in 5 days! But I think we are finally on the mend...her cough is still lingering, but I'm hoping its finding its way out the door!
Chris and I have battled through trying to stay away from it, but slowly getting touches of it here and there. And now poor Caroline looks like a leaky boat quickly sinking in congestion and snot!
After missing a week of school and all our fun activities, I think we are all ready for a hopefully much more normal week ahead. Then comes spring break, Claire's 3rd birthday party with her friends, a big birthday week and then a family party with all her grandparents! We are ready for an exciting and fun month of birthday celebrating!
So here's hoping to a much more healthy month of March and a little hint of green for some luck during this St Pattys month!

Snow in March
Yes, SNOW! We woke up to big fat wet cold snow flakes this morning. Are you kidding me, in MARCH???!!! Where the heck is spring?! Anyway, on a cold, snowy Sunday morning in March where snot, coughs, congestion and sickness have bombarded our house, this is still the best place on earth to one lucky mommy!
my sweet, precious baby girl just content playing on her blanket with snot running out of her nose!
and smiling about it!
