Claire
So here is our almost 3 year old getting ready in the morning....yes, she has her own little makeup bag of some of my old stuff and she loves standing on her stool and copying everything we do to 'get ready.' She had already brushed her teeth, combed her hair, put on her lotion, chap stick and 'odorant' (deodorant) and is now adding her makeup. However, she told me this eyeshadow wasn't eyeshadow, but her razor and shave cream like daddy's. So she mimicked that to a tee with her handy eye shadow brush. So as you can see on her face- her shaving cream and the brush as her razor! Pretty creative I guess!

She is totally our comic relief! She is always saying something that will have you laughing in stitches and her actions (just like above) may make you smile, but they make total sense in her little head. I have some great new Claire quotes to share and hope that it gives you a little glimpse into our funny life!
~Mommy, I think it would be ok if we had another baby one day, but please don't make us give Caroline away! (no, I'm not pregnant!)
~Mommy, we need to figure this out, so just sit and relax and we can talk.
~At dinner the other night-This conversation is boring, can we talk about something else??
~Mom, I'll be right back, I need to run to the store-my baby is out of milk and I need to buy some more boobs! (that will forever be one of best Claire quotes!)
~So guys, what are you doing? Tell me about your day!
~Mom, I'm not going to tell you again that your phone is ringing and you need to answer it! (we had a little heart to heart after this one!)
~Daddy, find your phone, I'm sending you a text!
~Caroline is making me die laughing, she is so funny mommy!
~Mommy, thats ok if you dont want to buy that for me, I'll call grandma!
She really is such a fun spirited, head strong, loving and adventurous little girl! She loved Christmas, being with family, teaching Caroline about baby Jesus & Santa and of course opening any gift she could get her hands on-be it hers or not!
She had a little ear infection last week and at the doctors office was such a big girl letting them check her out. She weighed a whopping 27 pounds and is the cutest little string bean I've ever seen! She has really done fantastic with being potty trained & loves wearing big girl panties! She is happy to be back in school and back into our weekly routine. She got her first report card and had great feedback from her teachers. They said she is their little sweet Claire, the nurturer and mommy of the class. (I'm hoping this is a good thing and not their polite way of saying shes the boss and always in charge!) ha! She really is the BEST big sister and helper-she and Caroline shine when they see each other in the mornings and its the best part of my day!

6 months
I mean seriously, could she be any cuter?? I love this little bean and everything she brings to our family! She is truly such a blessing and one of the lights of my day! That smile is completely contagious, her laugh is adorable and she has the BEST sugar spots on her chubby little thighs that you have ever seen!
She loves to sit and play, watch, observe and just be! She doesn't want to be laying down unless she is sleeping and even though she still cant roll completely over she does love to roll from side to side and flop those precious little legs around. She does what we call her Pilate's moves-she raises her head and shoulders off the ground trying with her might to sit up...I'm pretty sure she's perfected the Pilate's 100!
She had a great 6 month checkup...weighed 14 lbs/8 oz and was 26 inches long. She got her shots and had her finger pricked with her big sister standing on a stool right beside her holding her hand. Very sweet moment! She has been eating rice cereal since Jan 1st and since discovered she loves her sippy cup, bananas and apples! Every time we eat she wants to be in her bumbo on the table along with us with spoon in hand!
She is chewing and teething on anything she can and has 2 teeth so close to coming through. She loves to laugh and babble with Claire and her all time favorite thing is the jumperoo!
She is such a sweetie pie and has totally stolen our hearts in the last 6 months!
